Established in 1608, Woodenbridge hotel is the oldest hotel in Ireland and has 22 well appointed bedrooms all ensuite and with complimentary Wireless access. The hotel overlooks the vale of Avoca, and the amazing woodenbridge golf club.

Directions from Dublin:

Straight on the M50 until it becomes the N11
Follow the N11 to Arklow (about 50 miles)
Take the exit marked Arklow South, exit number 21
Follow signs for Arklow Town (about 3 miles)
Straight through 3 roundabouts
At fourth roundabout, one after Tesco's and Mac Donalds take 2nd exit (R747) (Signposed Vale of Avoca)
Follow this winding road for about ten minutes
We are located directly in front of you, once you pass the EMO petrol station.

Liked the setting and the intimacy of the hotel also the local feeling that it had, in that in the bar area you had local people in around the bar who gave the place a homely feel to it. I found the staff pleasant and engaging. Found the stuffed otter,birds of prey in resturant off putting and well past there best.!
