A treasury of choice will delight the visitor whether Robinsonian, Formal, Ornamental or Cottage Garden in style. Awakening the senses, there is much to discover and enjoy. The Wicklow Gardens Festival attracts over 50,000 people each year over the course of the festival. It is a huge attraction for both the domestic and overseas markets alike and is of huge benefit to the local economy.

Description
A number of special events will take place at various participating gardens, throughout the festival, they include events in Mount Usher Gardens on selected dates, Georgian Day celebrations will be held at Avondale House, Gardening and Environmental Courses will be run at Hunting Brook Gardens, whilst a festival of music will be held in Killruddery House and Gardens.
This year’s festival will also see the participation of five new gardens, making this the largest festival to date. Amongst the new entries are Ballon Garden, an ornamental garden situated on ¾ acre in Carlow, Hunting Brook, which is situated on the banks of the Vartry River in Rathnew, June Blake’s Garden & Nursery at Blessington, Mount House Garden at Tinahely, which overlooks the magnificent Mount Leinster and finally, The Rock, which is situated at Kilmacanogue, County Wicklow is rich in history and culture and is home to some of Ireland’s finest Heritage Properties, including the esteemed Avondale House, one time home of Charles Stewart Parnell, Killruddery House and Gardens, Powerscourt House and Gardens - which include an Italian and Japanese Garden, as well as over 200 variations of trees and shrubs - and the beautiful Mount Usher Gardens which are Robinsonian in style and are a gardener’s paradise.
