The Old Coach Houseis an award winning county home which is delightfully set in the Vale of Avoca. It was built in the 1840's as an overnight Stagecoach stop on the old Dublin-Wexford road.
The house manages to maintain some of that charm, but does not skimp on the warm welcome and modern comforts.

If heading to the Old Coach House from Dublin, you should take the N11 to Rathnew. From there follow signs for Rathdrum, and from there onto the Meeting of the Waters. The Old Coach House is situated a few hundred metres after that on the right hand side.

The Georgian rooms within the Old Coach House are ensuite with a TV and tea/coffee facilities. Most of the 5 rooms have a view overlooking the river and valley.
