“The Gables” is approximately one hour drive from Dublin and Rosslare and 4km from the maritime town of Arklow. From Dublin: Take the N11 to Arklow, proceed up Main Street, straight through the small roundabout at the top of the town (take the Coolgreany Road) and follow “The Gables” signs turning right for Johnstown. From Rosslare: Take the N11 to Arklow. “The Gables” is signposted 2nd left at the ‘Arklow South Roundabout’ (exit 21) before entering Arklow. Proceed in the direction of Ballynattin and follow “The Gables” signs.

Our best B and B ever. Lovely people, lovely house, lovely stay. Our only very minor criticism would be the height of the kettle shelf, which one of us could barely reach. But we hesitate even to mention that, when everything else was so perfect.
