The Stirabout Lane is in Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow. If you head south from Dublin on the N11 as far as Rathnew and from there follow the signs for Rathdrum, you will find the Stirabout Lane on the main street.
The Stirabout Lane is in the centre of the charming Rathdrum, itself situated on the west side of the beautiful Avonmore Valley, which provides some spectacular scenery; while the forests and hills provide some delightful walks.
The Stirabout Lane is perfect for golfers as there are several golf courses of note nearby such as Druids Glen, Woodenbridge, Glenmalure and Coollattin. There is also the seaside resort of Brittas Bay, with its famous long stretches of sandy dunes. Other attractions include the Avoca Village, Wicklow Vale Pottery, and Russborough House. There are also some of the most famous gardens such as Powerscourt House and the National Garden Exhibition nearby.

The cosy rooms (bedroom, common room, breakfast room) and the nice landlady.
The Stirabout Lane provides bedrooms to the rear of the home; away from the road. All the amenities of the town are within easy reach, such as shops, pubs and restaurant.The Avonmore River is nearby and is ideal for angling. It runs through the amazing Vale of Clara and there are several deep pools filled with brown trout. The “Angling for All” in Aughrim village offers all year round angling facilities.
