SHOWER WAS TINY - NO BIGGER THAN A CUPBOARD, WATER WENT ALL OVER HE FLOOR. TV DID NOT WORK BUT WE NOTICED CABLE LOOSE AND REPORTED IT. SHABBY ROOM BUT NICE BAR. BREAKFAST WAS OK, HAD TO WAIT FOR FRESH FOOD TO BE SERVED WHEN WE WERE IN A HURRY
Staff were extremely helpful when we were given a smoking room a second room was immediately arranged for us would revist.
The Hotel was a little faded. The room we were allocated was a little seedy , in dire need of refurbishment. It smelled of smoke, I don,t recall being asked if I wanted a non smoking room and I assumed it would be non smoking.
We felt the Royal was our worst ever experience regarding a weekend break. Check in time was 3.00pm,our room wasnt ready untill 4.30! We were located in a view-less room next to the laundry room which operated from early a.m. while staff there-in kept a radio blaring.there was no air conditioning.on arrival we were informed the jacuzzi was not working.we were charged for car parking in the hotel car park!
Staff were very friendly & helpful.Recommend hotel for short stays.
It's a bit tired, the internet service didn't work and the quality of the breakfast food was poor.
When we had a problem the duty manager was really helpful and came up with several solutions. Also the receptionist's where really helpful. Would recommend. Good value for money.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.. the food was beautiful I would recomend it to anyone..
I because of the work do stay in alot of hotels around Ireland and I found the Royal Hotel quite acceptable and good value for money.
Good hotel situated in the centre of Bray.
The hotel was busy when we stayed there was a ruby team staying, but still the hotel was well run and staff friendly.
