Directions to merrigan
Glendale Holiday Cottages are located just 30 miles from Dublin. Take the Bray Road from Dunblin to Kilmacanogue and turn right onto the Glendalough Road.
Continue through the village of Roundwood and Annamoe ‘Glendale Holiday Cottages’ are located about 500 yards on the Dublin side of the village of Laragh on you left.

Each cottage has 3 very comfortable and well designed bedrooms, the master bedroom is en-suite.
When you stay here, you will be provided with free bed linen and towels.
Electricity is extra.

Glendale Holiday Cottages are in an ideal location, set in the heart of the Wicklow mountains, with over 1250sq miles of wonderful unspoiled and uncrowned landscape. This majestic landscape provides the perfect setting for outdoor activities such as fishing, hill walking, and pony trekking in the Wicklow National Park.
The busy village of Laragh is only a short stroll where you will find many shops, restaurants and pubs. Only 5 minutes from Glendale is the Clara Lara Fun Park, this is a great day out for all the family with activities such as boating, canoeing and rafting on 5 acres of lakes and shallow pond. This is also home to the ‘Aqua Shuttle’ Irelands largest slide.
Glendalough
Situated only 5 minutes from Glendale, Glendalough is probably the best known Glen in Wicklow. The Valley of the two lakes (Glen-da-locha) lies in the centre of the Wicklow mountains and is famous for it’s rugged beauty, history and archaeological sites. You will find a wealth of history surrounding the lakes such as the Round Tower, churches, cahers and various other ruins.
Glendalough visitor centre is situated at the entrance to the valley, various exhibitions are held here exploring the history, folklore, wildlife and archaeology of the glens.
