For a truly memorable holiday, stay at the beautiful Glendale Holiday Cottages. These 4 star self catering cottages are set in the glorious historical surroundings of Glendalough in County Wicklow. The interior of these cottages are comfortable and homely with their open plan kitchen and living room and log fire creating a cosy ambiance. The cottages have three bedrooms one of which is ensuite. The surrounding area of Glendalough and its twin lakes is a magnificent setting where you can enjoy many outdoor pursuits. Bookings taken Saturday to Saturday for the week.

Glendale Holiday Cottages are located just 30 miles from Dublin. Take the Bray Road from Dublin to Kilmacanogue and turn right onto the Glendalough Road. Continue through the village of Roundwood and Annamoe ‘Glendale Holiday Cottages’ are located about 500 yards on the Dublin side of the village of Laragh on you left.
Glendale Holiday Cottages are in an ideal location, set in the heart of the Wicklow mountains, with over 1250sq miles of wonderful unspoiled and uncrowned landscape. This majestic landscape provides the perfect setting for outdoor activities such as fishing, hill walking, and pony trekking in the Wicklow National Park. The busy village of Laragh is only a short stroll where you will find many shops, restaurants and pubs. Only 5 minutes from Glendale is the Clara Lara Fun Park, this is a great day out for all the family with activities such as boating, canoeing and rafting on 5 acres of lakes and shallow pond. This is also home to the ‘Aqua Shuttle’ Irelands largest slide.
Each cottage has 3 very comfortable and well designed bedrooms, the master bedroom is en-suite. When you stay here, you will be provided with free bed linen and towels. Electricity is extra.
Situated only 5 minutes from Glendale, Glendalough is probably the best known Glen in Wicklow. The Valley of the two lakes (Glen-da-locha) lies in the centre of the Wicklow mountains and is famous for it’s rugged beauty, history and archaeological sites. You will find a wealth of history surrounding the lakes such as the Round Tower, churches, cahers and various other ruins. Gîte idéalement situé pour découvrir la belle région de Glendalough. Cottage propre,spacieux et très bien équipé( fer repasser,sèche cheveux,pastilles lave vaisselle, éponge torchons, serviettes.thé..) A conseiller, pas de mauvaise surprise.

We got a friendly welcome by Christy. The house is fine, everything we needed was there. I really liked the brochures with suggestions for sightseeing. Although the house is nearby Laragh shops, I wouldn't dare to walk that distance along the road. Too dangerous to my opinion.
Each cottage has an open plan kitchen and sitting room with a warm and welcoming log fire. The kitchen is fully fitted with all mod cons such as microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Depending on the unit, heating witll either be Electric Central heating or Oil Fired Central Heating.
