Directions
From Dublin:
Join the main N/M11 route south through Ashford and Rathnew towards Arklow. Take the exit for Arklow (you will then pass Hill's Garage) on to the first right turn at Behan's Garage towards Avoca. In Avoca go straight on past Fitzgerald's Pub.
From Rosslare:
Drive north on the N/M11 route through Enniscorthy and Gorey. After Gorey take the exit for Arklow. You then go under the bridge and left. Keep going (you will pass Pettit's Supermarket) to a small roundabout. Go straight on (route 752) past the Woodenbridge Hotel (veering right) and shortly turn right for Avoca. Turn left at Fitzgerald's Pub.
From Avoca:
Drive up past the Church and Avoca Handweavers. Take the first turn left (at Burn's workshop) and go up a winding lane to a T-junction. Turn right and then immediately a sharp left into a country land. Pass by the 1st Alora entrance and keep going to the 2nd entrance. You are here!
Local Area
There is lots to see and do surrounding this holiday home. The immediate area of Avoca is famous as the setting for the TV series ‘Ballykissangel’ and it is also home to the world famous Avoca Handweavers. Avoca is so splendid that it inspired Thomas Moore to write a song called ‘The Meeting of the Waters’.
