Lough Dan House Bed and Breakfast is located just a few miles from the attractive village of Roundwood in County Wicklow.
This delightful B&B is nestled high up in the Wicklow Mountains on an eighty acre hill farm which overlooks the beautiful Lough Dan. Here you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of the open countryside and its spectacular scenery, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Lough Dan B&B has been newly refurbished and the entire house now has under-floor heating.

Directions

Lough Dan House is situated over 1000 feet up in the Wicklow Mountains on an eighty-acre hill farm, overlooking Lough Dan.

From Dublin get on the M50 motorway South bound, join the M11 motorway and look out for exit for Roundwood and Glendalough, immediately past a Topaz service station.

Drive to Roundwood, turn at Roundwood Inn, signed Loughdan, drive 0.75k, bear left, continue 1k bear right, continue 0.75 bear left signed Loughdan, continue 1k turn right, signed Loughdan, drive to end of cul de sac, ignore red warning sign of narrow road etc, but drive slowly as the road is narrow, at the end of the road cross small stone bridge, turn left and drive up lane, our house is elevated on the right 250 meters from the bridge.  Any problem phone and I will direct you or meet you.

Description

After a day touring the area, you can relax in front of a traditional log fire with a cup of tea and mingle with the other guests.
Your host Sean Byrne offers the very best in Irish hospitality ensuring you have a pleasant stay at Lough Dan B&B. Sean will also be your guide on all organised walks which range from seven to fifteen kilometres, depending on your level of fitness. The farm itself extends to over eighty acres and is bonded on three sides by breathtaking views of Wicklow Mountains National Park.
