The beautiful Georgian country home dates back to the 1750’s and is set on a working beef and tillage farm. The house is renown for its spacious rooms & gardens as well as its warm Irish welcome.

While staying at Kilpatrick House you have 250 acres of tranquil pastureland to explore. The accommodation is only a few minutes from Brittas Bay, one of the most beautiful white sandy beaches on the east coast, and Ballymoyle Wood where you will see a vast amount of Irish flora and fauna including wild deer. Either are perfect for long rambles or short walks and all give spectacular views of the east coast of Ireland.

Kilpatrick is an area of particular historical interest. Legend has it that Kilpatrick was one of the first places visited by St Patrick after landing in Ireland. There is a holy well of St Patrick in a nearby field for you to visit – the water of which is said to have special healing properties.
Directions
Travel south from Dublin on the N11. Turn right at Jack Whites Pub. Follow signs for Kilpatrick House for about 2km.Nearest bus stop is the Bus Eireann ‘No 2 – Dublin - Rosslare’. A regular service stops at Jack Whites (2KM away) many times a day. The Kingston family would be happy to pick you up and drop you back to the bus stop if you don’t have a car.Nearest train station is Arklow (7KM away). The Dublin – Rosslare service goes many times a day. The Kingston family would be happy to pick you up and drop you back to the train station if you don’t have a car.

Kilpatrick House offers a wide range of facilities to make your stay a memorable one. Each of the bedrooms are spacious and elegantly furnished in line with the house’s Georgian character. Three come complete with en-suite facilities and one with its own private bathroom. All of the guestrooms are equipped with TV, hair dryer, alarm clock and tea making facilities.

You will start your day with a choice of delicious home-cooked breakfasts. Choose from homemade potato cakes with Irish smoked salmon & crème fraiche, Fluffy scrambled eggs with bacon or salmon, a mouth watering full Irish or our world famous porridge with Irish cream liqueur.

All foods are sourced locally and there are a number of vegetarian and vegan options.The house boasts beautiful spacious gardens and you are welcome to relax on the front lawn, wander around the farmyard or play tennis on the lawn tennis court.

Parnell)- Wicklow's historic Gaol, with the story of the 1798 rebellion and the Famine- The Vale of Avoca, a beautiful valley home to Avoca, the picturesque village of TV fame in "Ballykissangel"- Mount Usher Gardens, a splendid 20-acre garden with 5000 species of rare plants and trees Golfers can choose from a great selection of nearby golf courses.
