The special atmosphere of Ireland's countryside has a lot to do with its traditional way - the feeling of contact with older wisdoms. In the farms of the countryside, especially, there is a continuity of love for the land and its domestic animals. Farming is still a family affair, with a lifestyle that respects old courtesies and the habit of kindness to strangers.

Description
This award-winning 114 hectare dairy and sheep farm of the Hayden family provides the visitor with the opportunity to see management techniques, breeding policy, grassland management and modern farm buildings. A carefully planned development programme over the years has made the farm unique in demonstrating that modern farming and protection of the environment are compatible. A visit to this farm which has been owned by the Hayden family since 1865, affords the visitor an opportunity to meet an Irish family living and working in the tranquillity of rural Ireland.
