The service in the restaurant was exceptional but down in the bar it was very poor we were left waiting for at least 20 mins for service on both days
Absolutley beautiful hotel, fantastic view, great food, friendly staff and excellent facilities.... what more could you want? Would highly reccomend!

The rooms were very small, we were put on the ground floor with the wheelchair access right outside our window and on top of that our room was across from a function room and just up from reception. I asked to be moved but they said they were full. On the second night there was music blaring out of the function room and the guests from the function were talking outside our room it was really loud and we could not sleep. we have stayed in a lot of places and different countries and so are well travelled and would usually not complain. But the location of the room we were booked into ruined the weekend. I would not go back again because of this. The other facilities were lovely and the bar staff were excellent.

From GoIreland: Thank you for your valued comment and sorry to hear about your issues at the hotel. The Glenview Hotel is an excellent 4 star hotel in Co. Wicklow and very popular on GoIreland.com. The hotel caters for a lot of functions like weddings and parties and some noise is audible from the rooms. The hotel was full on that particular night and it was unfortunate the room couldn't be changed. Having highlighted the issue to the hotel is the correct procedure and addressing the problem early makes rectifying it more possible.
We upgraded from a standard room to the penthouse suite as we were celebrating our anniversary. The suite was beautiful and the staff gave us the VIP treatment - definitely value for money. The only downside was that checkout is 11am but there are no tea/coffee facilities available at that time to relax and enjoy the views from the veranda.
The Staff are very warm and welcoming. The ambience is quite unique in that you have excellence without the haughty froideur that you can experience in some self-styled high-class establishments.
I would diffently recommend the Glenview Hotel to friends and family, it was very reasonable, clean and friendly.
This trip for us was exactly what we were looking for- a night to relax and unwind. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent.The hotel is situated in a beautiful location- a great place to relax and unwind.
We found the staff very professional but in such a very nice way, polite and discreet and very welcoming. My children and I are all vegetarian and we had a few special requests re menu the staff had no problems coming up with great suggestions for lovely meals for us (a very nice change). The pool is a beauty it is not packed full of people and is a quiet oasis after a busy day sight seeing.
