Very helpful and friendly staff. Older hotel in fairly good shape. Large room (#206). Excellent location on the waterfront.
We first met in bray 40 years ago and have been back several times. The town is not as bustling as we remember probably a reflection of the current economic climate. We would have little or no complaint withe overall stay at the Esplanade. staff were excellent always cheerful and efficient. The hotel is a bit worn at the edges, but aren't we all after all the years? We both will stay there again.
it was a nice hotel but i was expecting more from it, however the room was great and comfortable. Also the sinks in the bathroom didnt want to drain so that was a slight issue, other than that would go back again.
It was a lovely hotel on the beach front. If you want to visit Bray and be able to imagine it as it may have been years ago this is the place to stay. An enjoyable experience.
The accommodation was very basic and the service in the bar area was poor. The room where we stayed was very noisy due to a wedding party the music was still blaring past 1am.
No lift to room where we were sleeping. Had baby in a buggy bit difficult. No facilities for children.

i feel that the room description really didn't reflect the room that we got, the room was clean however the bath room was in need of a revamp.
Had a really good time and a very nice hotel would go back and stay again.
We were very pleased with the Esplanade Hotel. It had charm, nicely appointed rooms, very clean, a very courteous and helpful staff, and a wonderful scenic location. If we return to Ireland, we will return to the Esplanade Hotel!

I really enjoyed my time at the Esplanade Hotel. I was amazed how wonderful the hotel was for the price I paid. Also, the hotel was helpful with any plans we had in Wicklow. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.
I liked it. The best thing was that it is on the beach.
Conveniently situated between Dublin and countryside fantastic view of the ocean. We were lucky getting to know the Bray Summerfest.

I've had a couple of times a very pleasant stay. The food served in the restaurant was very good if you consider that I'm a German.
We found it quite, relaxing and convenient to use the Dart to travel to an concert in Dublin 4
