Doban is a new townhouse offering B&B style accommodation in the charming old fishing port of Arklow in County Wicklow, known as the ‘Garden of Ireland’ for its leafy, lush rural scenery.
It’s a very agreeable and attractively decorated guesthouse with a large private car park for guest use and a pleasant garden area where you can sit back and enjoy the fresh air breezing off the Irish Sea.
Doban is both family friendly and welcomes hen and stag dos.

If you're travelling from Dublin on N11 take R772 into Arklow town. Pass a church and school on the right and take a right after the school. Doban is at the bottom of this cul de sac.

A few friends

There has been a mix-up with our reservastions and so she did not know we were coming. She was very helpful, picked us up at the train station which was great as it was poring rain. She had information on travel options and good suggestions for local things to do.

A warm welcome in a beautifull house, a kind person Mr. Doban. Arklow is a good place to stay if you want to go to the Wicklow Mountains. Nice Pubs with nice food also. And a nice sundown over the river. I would go there again.
