Celtic Ventures is a Recognised Teaching Establishment within the Yachtmaster Scheme of the IRISH SAILING ASSOCIATION ISA. For those who wish to acquire qualifications, a range of courses are available. Our main courses are : non residential boat driving courses, power and sail (Sail: ISA certified). Celtic Ventures is staffed by a bilingual team, with top-level qualifications from the relevant authorities. Our clients/students stay at the local Guesthouses. We take beginners to advanced skipper training. Depending on the wishes of our clients, we can sail locally, on the east coast, or we can cross over to Wales. We can cruise north, beyond Dublin Bay (where we will exercise our obligatory night sails), or south to Kilmore Quay and the Saltee Islands. Further WEST during 7 - 14 day cruise Courses, to Waterford, Cork, Kerry, and beyond. When you arrive, we discuss the varous options with you in detail, and design a tailor-made itinerary for each group, reflecting season/events/weather and the aims, the experience and the plans of the group.
