The property features a lounge, kitchen/diner, 2 double bedrooms, a double bedroom with additional single bed, a bathroom, and level-entry disabled shower unit. Electricity, oil-fired central heating, linens, and towels are included. WiFi is available for €10 a week. Facilities include open fire, cot, high chair, TV, DVD player, CD/radio, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, hairdryer, welcome pack, fully enclosed garden, patio area with furniture, and private off-road parking. The only pets allowed are guide dogs.
The renowned Wicklow Way walking route is nearby and the locally resident owners are active participants in the Fáilte Ireland Walkers Welcome initiative. Former National Tidy Towns winner Aughrim has a choice of shops, pubs, restaurants, and an award-winning trout angling facility.
An extra single bed is available if required. The owners compost / recycle all suitable material.
Located midway between Dublin and Rosslare, the cottage is an ideal base for touring the popular east coast. There are lovely seating areas outdoors while an open fire makes for a cosy night in.
You can enjoy the unrivalled beauty of the Wicklow Mountains by taking a walk along the quiet country roads or the many forest trails in the area.
