Woodlands Country House is a period residence built circa 1836 set on 2 acres of tranquil gardens, located just 4km from Gorey in County Wexford. Located on the Wicklow/Wexford border and just 50 miles from Dublin, (1 hour drive) very easy to locate as it is just 1 mile off the M11 Arklow - Gorey bypass coming off at EXIT 22.  The house is one of the few 5* rated bed and breakfasts in Ireland, and has received many excellent reviews on TripAdvisor.  We take pride in our beautiful gardens, rooms are cosy, and Woodlands Country House is noted for its peace and tranquility, and the beautiful breakfast (a la carte menu) served each morning with lots of fresh fruits, juices, home baking and preserves. Take a stroll around the river on the grounds, and sit by the lake and listen to the birds. We have 6 ensuite bedrooms with toiletries supplied, superking, king, double and twin beds with Electric Blankets. Central heating through out the house.

Woodlands Country House is located 4kms north of Gorey on the N11, near the village of Killinierin.  Come off the bypass at EXIT 22 take a right opposite the Fruit Farm, drive up until you see the sign at the entrance on the left. 

The Village host a Pugin Church, the Parish School, a supermarket, and Murphys Village Pub.  Located 50 miles from Dublin, Kilkenny, Waterford, on the South side.  Ideal location for vising the Waterford Crystal, The Kennedy Homestead, the Dunbrody Famine Ship, Johnstown Castle and Gardens

The award winning country house still retains some of its wonderful features as well as period furnishings scattered throughout the home. There are 6 en-suite bedrooms complete with toiletries and three of the bedrooms have a balcony. Meander along the mature garden and along the courtyard of old stone buildings as you take some time out for yourself in this beautiful Georgian residence.

Woodlands Country House is ideally located to tour the sunny southeast. The area is very tranquil and has some wonderful woodlands walks to enjoy or for the more energetic there is hill walking only 10 minutes away. Woodlands Country House is the perfect place for you if you just want to rest, relax and getaway from the hustle and bustle of every day life.
