wexford opera festival 2008

This annual event has been moved to the summer and has moved its location to Johnstown castle during renovations in the Opera House. This venue manages to maintain the real classy feel of such a prestigious event. The new venue warrants a new programme, which are all from the 20th Century and include Dvorak's Rusalka, Kurt Weill's Der Silbersee (sung in English) and finally the opera Arlecchino which is followed by a 'Ballet with song'.
