The Wrens Nest once known as the smallest pub in Wexford is today a leading social landmark in the town. With an idyllic view of Wexford bay and adjacent to the town’s main car park, close to the bull ring and all amenities this pub is an obvious choice for tourists, visitors and locals.
The setting is cosy with a comfortable unhurried atmosphere. The lounge enjoys a change of mood, decidedly equestrian with lots of relevant memorabilia in evidence. A feature stone fireplace, wooden ceiling, slate floor and comfortable seating create a homely ambience. Throughout the premises attention to detail is noteworthy with quality food and drink, served by friendly staff, a consistent order of the day.
Although this pub attracts a large country fraternity, visitors will immediately feel at ease and can mingle easily. Top traditional musicians give rousing sessions here on occasion. The lively atmosphere extends to G.A.A patrons and there is a great point to point and horse racing following in this hallmark pub.
This award winning rendezvous is noted for its hospitality, finest drinks and superb home made food.
