the rafters restaurant

The Rafters is housed in the building which was originally the cornstore, in the heart of Kilmuckridge. Whilst the renovation into a restaurant has retained the character of the building, the staffs cooking does strive to be a little more inventive and creative than conventional menus.

Noisettes of hare with a juniper berry and gin sauce; confit of salmon scented with thyme, enhanced with lobster butter, and a tarragon sauce. Prices are very keen and they frequently organise very imaginative evenings to coincide with the opera festival.
