The restaurant on the top floor had a lovely view of the area. There were children running into the bar area untill after midnite and none of the staff said anything.
I stayed in an apartment and I feel that there should have been more facilities in it, it had tea making facailites that is it, no pots or pans even though there was a hob, no plates so we had to eat out the hold time not always pratical with children, and it had storage heating whick kicked in in the middle of the nite, suffocating us, they were unable to amend the heating, no heat when needed, just as well it wasn't to cold, they did provide us with an electric heater, other than that all was ok.
Nice hotel nice location and service but no sound proofing in the rooms, could hear everything from the room next door. Unfourtunately I didn't mention this to staff.
I thought very highly overall of the Carlton. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. We would definately go back. We would also definately book many more holidays through your site. Thank you.
The room that we were in, although very nice was along the path that people used to access the leisure facilities. This meant that we had a stream of people walking outside the room from very early to quite late at night.(I like to sleep with a window open). Also the cleaning people had a room that was adjacent to our bedroom and they created quite alot of noise in the mornings. Nice hotel, but the room that we were in was very noisey.
