Directions not very good - took extra 30 minutes to locate on roads. Friendly and helpful staff, but dirty bathroom and flush broken on toilet. Breakfast was late and not enough early staff on duty.

The hotel was really really clean and the rooms very spacious and comfortable, the staff were fantastic, they couldn't have been more helpful

we booked into this hotel for the weekend and we found the rooms very quiet which was perfect the atmosphere was relaxed the staff brilliant very friendly and helpful and local it was great to see a hotel able to give local employment well done to you !! that makes a huge difference in my opinion the staff were multitasking which is rare but excellent they seemed to be appreciative of actually having work locally and got on with the job in hand the location off what is now the secondary road must be a huge problem in attractting people but a real find when one arrives there must be plenty of hotels now in that geographical position through no fault of their own maybe failte ireland could run a special add on their website to attract people to these places and give them a special mention there are people who love these areas because they are quiet and restful no banging doors here. well done to all. donegal visitors

staff were extremely and nothing was a problem to them. Reception had no one on duty when we arrived.Arrival approx 8pm Staff member from the bar checked us in and also took our order for meal. This was not a problem just unusual. Rooms were basic and clean althought we did not like the colour of the beadspreads it looked a bit dated dowdy. Check out was not strict which was good as we attended a race early in the morning so it was good to come back and shower before departure

My overall opinion of the stanville lodge was very good. After reading several comments i was very unsure about the hotel, but we would recommend to family and friends. The food was lovely.
