Courtown is reputed to get the most sunshine hours in Ireland, so it's good to know that there is a 5km sandy beach here where you can spend your days soaking up the sun, walking the beach, and swimming. Enjoy a round of golf in Courtown's 18-hole golf course or fish for some brown trout on the Ounavarragh River. It can also be used as a base for touring Wexford and visiting attractions such as Ram House Gardens and Ferns Abbey. If you want to sample an evening of traditional Irish song, dance and storytelling, then head to the House of Storytelling in Ballyduff for a highly entertaining and enjoyable experience.
