Enjoy the splendid isolation of unspoilt countryside at this traditionally restored farmhouse in Blackwater.

Leave the luxury of this four-star property to enjoy trips to the beach (2km), country walks, and visits to surrounding towns and museums.

Accommodating 5 guests, the house features a modern kitchen, diningroom. sittingroom, bathroom, and 3 bedrooms (one en-suite).  There is plenty of space outside for parking, ball games etc.  An old garden with fruit trees at the back of the house is ideal for BBQ and eating out.   

You are 3km from Blackwater, a small village with a supermarket, ATM, restaurant and 4 Pubs.  Wexford, just 15km away, is an ideal spot for shopping and sightseeing. Splendid unspoilt, deserted beaches are only down the road, and the nearest beach with a lifeguard is about 5km away.

The property is very secluded, and you have no immediate neighbours.  The laneway that leads up to the house is an old 1km unpaved track - on which you can drive only at very low speeds.

The house is suitable for families with young children as there is no traffic.  

Bookings are not accepted for parties or for groups of more than 5 persons.

From Blackwater direction Kilmuckbridge turn left at 3rd cottage on left.

Description

This lovingly restored farmhouse has plenty of character and is ideal for a relaxing break away in the unspoilt countryside. The house can accommodate five people and consists of three bedrooms. The property is family-friendly and is close to a sandy beach and Blackwater village.  The property is comfortably heated with oil-fired central heating throughout and an open fire that is perfect for cosy evenings indoors. For your convenience, bed linen and towels are supplied free of charge. The farmhouse is located on an unpaved country laneway accessible only at low speed. Golf, horseriding, swimming, and angling can all be enjoyed locally. There is much to do in County Wexford, from walking paths to exploring the county on one of many scenic drives. Visit Duncannon Fort or Johnstown Castle and Gardens.
