Our host offered us to climb up the tower of his Castle. From up there we had an excellent view. Our bedroom was quite small but lovingly furnished. The breakfast was excellent, we want to recommend the Porridge with Whiskey and cream.

The breakfast. The breakfast cannot be understated. There were great options such as the traditional fry which I went for and the pancakes which my girlfriend had. There were also homemade breakfasts there, a ginger and fruit concoction which was really good, cheese and some interesting combinations such as porridge and whiskey. The quality of the food was exceptional, as was the way it was cooked, presented and delivered. Quite simply, the best breakfast I've had in 28 years. The area was beautiful, the farmhouse very well kept with a real age old country atmostphere. They just need to get around to renovating the attached castle and integrating it into their business.

The location was lovely and the house had real character. The photos and bits of history of the area and house were most enlightening. The rooms were comfortable, well furnished, spotlessly clean and well supplies with soft towels and good quality toiletries. Breakfast was wonderful, enjoyed by all and very plentiful. The only negative would be the long haul up the stairs with luggage to the top floor.
