Organised by Gorey Community Development Group, essentially it is a community festival which has expanded dramatically since first established in 1986. It is recognised as one of the premier festivals in the region with top groups providing free open-air entertainment nightly plus exhibitions, competitions, sports events, theatre, pub talent, busking competition and a wide variety of fringe events....

Each evening there is live music on the street, featuring some of Ireland's top entertainers. There is something to suit everyone's tastes throughout the festival with pub talent, pub quizes, Mr and Mrs competition, batchelor competition, children's day, field day, car treasure hunt, five-a-side soccer, carnival and many more events.
