Directions

The Ferrycarrig Hotel is in Wexford, just south of Dublin. From Dublin International Airport take the M50 south. Exit onto the N11 and head for Wexford. The hotel is 2 miles north of Wexford town.

We offer a renowned Children’s Club, fantastic location with leisure facilities to ensure your holiday to the South East is hassle free and a great success.. Our Children’s Crazy club is open at weekends throughout the year and everyday during all School Holidays and Bank Holidays – we are confident from our Georgina Campbell Family Friendly Award for 2008 that we are the best supervised club in Ireland and is available for all children aged between 4-12 years while staying at the hotel.

We can provide travel cots and safety rails as additional items to family rooms.

The 103 rooms within the Ferrycarrig Hotel are all ensuite and provide excellent views of the valley. The 8 Suites provide the extra little something for those looking to pamper themselves. We are conveniently located on the main Dublin road a short 10 minute drive from Leisure Max, Wexford's newest Family Entertainment Centre offering:
Ten Pin Bowling, Game zone, Play Centre, Indoor Adventure Playground, Pet Centre, 5 a-side Pitch and Wexfords 8 Screen Cineplex.

The Ferrycarrig Hotel is within easy reach of Johnstown Castle and 1798 Visitors Centre.  A little further afield there is the JFK Memorial Park.

The Irish National Heritage Park is located minutes from our front door.

The South East offers lots of spectacular shorelines to explore, the most popular being Curracloe Beach - probably the finest beach in Ireland. With eight miles of golden sand and safe bathing, you can be sure to find a spot to your liking. A nature trail runs through the dunes and continues for 5 km to Raven Point, passing through the beautiful peninsula which constitutes Raven Nature Reserve. Curracloe Beach extends to Ballinesker Beach, where the landing scenes from the movie 'Saving Private Ryan' were filmed.

The staff were very efficent but laid back and friendly. For example on booking in, we asked if the rooms had broadband, as we were doing some planning via the internet for christmas. Not all we were told, but were moved to a different room, without prompting. Bar food was exceptional we thought. Loved the views, sunrise, the "murder of crows" the great walks and the shopping in wexford town.

The Ferrycarrig Hotel provides the best in Health and Fitness services. It has a 20 metre pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and solarium. The TechnoGym has an extensive array of equipment and you can get involved in gym, swimming and aerobics classes during your stay.

For the ladies, the Hair and Beauty Salon is a popular alternative or a simple treat.

Reeds is our river-front restaurant.  With extensive local and internationally influenced menu, the food is as stunning as the view. 

The Dry Dock Bar serves an excellent bar food menu from 12.30-9.00pm everyday.  A casual and relaxed atmosphere, it’s outdoor decking is the perfect al fresco option to capture those warm summer balmy evenings as the sun glisten’s off the water.

The kids are not forgotten and can avail of the Kids Zone Activity Classes and attent Crazy Clubber our supervised care and play programmes that run on weekends and midweek during the summer holidays.
