Another great way to see Wexford is by bicycle. If you are a cycling fan, there is a real treat in store for you this year, when the county hosts the Tour de France, the biggest annual sporting event in the world. The famous tour makes an overnight stop here on July 12th. The following day the race leaves Enniscorthy on its way to Cork, passing through New Ross en route. A huge carnival atmosphere will prevail and you will have the chance to see some of the worlds greatest sportsmen closer than you have ever seen them before.
