Carraig View B&B provides excellent accommodation in the countryside of Ballycale. It is a four star rated bed and breakfast premises, just 2.5km from the town of Gorey in County Wexford. Carraig View is 2 km from the Amber Springs Hotel and 3 km from the Ashdown Park Hotel and Marlfield House Hotel, complimentary lifts are available to guests attending weddings or functions in these hotels or to Gorey .When you stay here you will enjoy the large landscaped gardens and magnificent scenic views for miles around.
This cosy accommodation has three guestrooms, which consist of a double room ensuite, a twin room ensuite  with two double beds and a double room not ensuite with seperate bathroom. All rooms are equipped with tea making facilities, a TV and an electric blanket. Carraig view is a modern premises tastefully decorated, great attention to detail and magnificent gardens.

Directions

Carraig view is located on the main R741 gorey - Ballycanew- Wexford road. Located 2.5 km from Gorey town. Coming from Dublin direction take exit 23 and follow signs for R741 road until you come to Ballycanew road roundabout then take first exit and house is 1 km further on the right, also coming from the south take same exit and follow same route. From Gorey take left at main traffic lights if coming up main street and continue straight for 2.5 km, hse on right,( straight through 2 roundabouts). Carraig view is on the same road as the Amber Springs Hotel.

Carraig view is adjacent to a side road so its ideal for walking. Gorey town is 2.5 km away and Ballycanew village is 3km so its close to hotels, pubs and good food. Courtown Harbour is 4km which is by the seaside. Barnadown equestrian centre is up the road 1.5 km and complimentary lifts are available to the centre. Amber Springs Hand Ashdown Park Hotel  are close by and Marlfield House hotel and Sea field golf club.

Carraig View occupies a peaceful setting just 2.5km from the beautiful town of Gorey in County Wexford and 4 km from courtown harbour, so you won’t be too far from  beaches, shops, restaurants and lively bars. It provides a great base for sightseeing and touring. Some attractions to look out for while you discover Wexford include Duncannon Fort, Hook Lighthouse, the Irish National Heritage Park and John F. Kennedy Arboretum. Those seeking a more active holiday can enjoy horse riding and fishing, and there is also a beautiful sandy beach nearby where you can enjoy swimming, sunbathing or refreshing walks by the sea.

Carraig view is a modern and spacious bungalow. The guest dining-room is located to the front  with stunning views. It is spotlessly clean and shows great attention to detail.

Room 1 is a double room en suite.

Room 2 is a double room with a seperate bathroom/ shower room.

Room 3 is a twin en suite with 2 double beds.

All the rooms have multi chanel tv,tea- coffee facilities, electric blankets,free WI- FI ,magazines and bottled water.

A lovely House beautiful Setting Tea.Coffee in room was excellent with a fresh Jug of milk supplied. central heating excellent.heated overblanket if required. Electric oil heater if required. I had a very plesent stay. The lady of the house was extremely friendly & helpful

At Carraig view there is a large private garden 1.5 acres with lawn, shrubs and a fountain,the garden has won garden competitions and is located on a hill so the views are magnificent, it has tables and chairs for guests to relax and take in the beauty of the country side.

A guest lounge is available with multy chanel tv, music and magazines.

A clothes line is available for guest use and a seperate drying room to dry clothes is available.

A garage is available to store bicycles.
