The positive feature of this hotel is its proximity to the ferry terminal. Unfortunately the rooms are run down and badly in need of an update. It was difficult to sleep because of noise outside the hotel from the car park, machinery noise and inside from banging corridor doors.

The location was perfect for our trip on the Ferry the next day--but the room was a bit of a mess--light bulbs missing--the phone dead--and the bed--well--not a comfortable night's sleep....the restaurant was quite good, though----

Hotel is in convenient location. Rooms located at front offer good views, though a working port may not be everybody's taste. Rooms slightly old fashioned and in need of updating. Good hearty breakfast. Ideal for a single night's stay.

The best thing about the hotel was the view and also how close we were to the ferry port.

Very clean, good breakfast, we only stayed one night as we were going on the ferry next day perfect for this.

room was very small and asked if we could have room with bigger window as my friend has asthma told no way, had breakfast was sour i told the head waitress to tell the cook she said she would.

Very friendly helpful staff. No lift is a big drawback for us 'very mature folk'.
