Reeside is a charming B&B accommodation situated on 2 acres beside Lough Ree and close to Athlone in County Roscommon.

The B&B is located in Barrymore just outside Athlone Town on the N61.

Description

The B&B is only a mile from the Hudson Bay Hotel. The home has been welcoming guests for a number of years and comprises of well-maintained bedrooms. Each of the guestrooms comes with en-suite facilities and TV. Families of all ages are catered for at Reeside with the option of a babysitting service, cot and highchair on request. Private parking is also available on site.

While staying at Reeside you have the opportunity to tour all that the west coast has to offer. Athlone and the surrounding area are brimming with activities including a visit to the Dean Crown Theatre or the Athlone Little Theatre. Golf is a very popular sport in this part of the country as well as boating and cruising on Lough Ree and the River Shannon. Take the kids along to Glendeer Pet Farm or just take some time for yourself angling by the lake.

Thouroughly enjoyed my stay. Excellent location just minutes from the hodson bay hotel. Rooms were very clean and well kept. Owners very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely book again and recommend to friends in future.

Please pass on my thanks for a great welcome and for the landlady putting her self out and getting up at 4am on the Saturday morning to make breakfast for me as i was competing in the European Triathlon Championships. I would recommend all who are visiting Athlone to book there B+B at the Reeside.
