Very convenient for me because of location. Also, it was a neat hotel unlike others in that area. Rooms were a bit hot though.

Neither the staff nor the brochure rack have any suggestions on what to do or see in the Athlone area. A steam iron for clothes pressing was needed and not available.
Staff could not have been nicer, they went out of their way to help. Beautiful hotel and food was excellent. Hotel in lovely position on the Shannon. Would definately return!
I did not have a lenghty enough stay to give a fair judgement. I personally didn't like the way breakfast was organised. In my past experience I would be shown to a table and asked would I like tea/coffee etc. In this case, we were asked for our room number and sat ourselves down. Perhaps they were short staffd on this occasion. I was happy overall and would stay again at the right price.
We really enjoyed our stay-it was a night away break for us from Dublin from all the hectic working week so we found it really lovely-friendly staff-lovely room, great facilities and really loved the Quayside bar for a glass of vino. Thank you.
Classy hotel with a relaxing and romantic view and with a balcony overlooking the river. Rooms - luxury- well stocked fridge, clean, modern and comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay. Fortunately the sun was shining and the wine was flowing and we sat out on the veranda of the hotel and relaxed.
Loved my stay at your hotel. Room was very warm but we discussed that before we left and we could have turned down the controls. So it was an oversight on our part.
