Very clean and spacious room. Good central location in Athlone (and private parking).

I thought rhis hotel was an okay 3 star, but certainly did not deserve its 4 star rating. While the room had a decent shower, the lack of a bath was disappointing. The wallpaer was marked, a hole in the ceiling surrounding a light fitting, the lock fitting in the bathroom missing some of the metal surround. While we got a good deal on the room, the price certainly reflected the quality of the room. The location was excellent. We arrived early and the reception staff were very helpful and did book us in early. If I got a good deal I would book again, but do not expect 4 star quality!
