Description
Description
The ancient art of pewter making was revived in Mullingar by Mullingar Pewter in 1974. Most of the pieces are still made in the traditional way in the workshop by Irish men and women, specially trained in the old casting methods, meticulous assembly and delicate hand finishing. These skillls take years to acquire. Mullingar pewter has consistently applied the highest standards of design and quality control in the production of these supreme gifts. The company is rightly renowned around the world for its fine pewter products. Genesis Fine Arts - is family owned business which was set up in 1987 to produce "cold cast bronze" sculptures of a very high standard. The process allows the craft people to exactly reproduce the sculptor's original, thus giving the sculptor a free hand with no limitations on design or detail. Genesis use the most modern up to date techniques to produce their art. All sculptures by genesis are limited editions, each one being numbers and bearing the artist's signature.
