The 25 acre, environmentally conscious complex enjoys an idyllic scenic location, wedged between the historic centuries old site of Tullaghan Castle and the National Heritage preserved Zone which borders the shoreline of Lough Owel's internationally acclaimed fishing waters. There is a challenging 18 hole championship Pitch & Putt Course with a number of "Testing" feature holes, a Pitching Range, nine hole Practice Putting Green and a Championship (short course) Croquet Lawn. Golf Clubs, balls and croquet mallets can be hired at reception. Apart from the competitive buzz the designer 18 hole mini golf course offers; the passage of play takes you on a scenic route richly endowed with country and ecological appeal. On water there are a number of boats for hire suitable for pleasure rowing or fishing. This area appeals to the ecology conscious with guided tours by boat providing a spectacular insight into the hdden treasures of the lake border. (These trips must be booked in advance). Exclusive fly tying materials and Flies are on sale - information on all aspects of local fishing available. Incidentally, if desired our resident aficionado of these waters will give you a few lessons on fly fishing for trout, using the Tarantino method. For those wishing to take up the game of Pitch and Putt, lessons can also be arranged and where better to practice, than on the pitching range - the only one of its kind in Ireland.
