glendeer open farm ireland s lapland

This is an open farm which is owned and run by the O'Connell Family. It is opend from Easter to end of September, 7 days a week. There are over  50 species of animals to see and maybe even feed at Glendeer Open Farm. Accommdation is also available here in the two self-catering cottages.

During the month of December an enlosed area of the farm will be transformed into Ireland's Lapland. With Santa and his deers, a crib with real cow and donkey, a snow-scene, 3 cabins with different Christmas themes and lots more.

At Easter there is also Easter Egg hunts here with the Easter Bunny.
