Ballymachugh Country House is a charming Three star self catering cottage located in a scenic rural setting. It can be found secluded, in the countryside near Athlone in County Westmeath. This country cottage is beautifully restored and includes three bedrooms with two single beds and two double beds. One bedroom is en suite. Ballymachugh also boasts gardens to the front and back of the cottage and there is also a patio with a barbeque for you to enjoy.

Other features of the cottage include private parking, ground floor bedrooms and an open fire. Ballymachugh is a perfect base for touring the midlands and discovering major attractions such as Clonmacnoise, Clara Bog, Birr Castle and Athlone Castle which are all located in the nearby area. If you like active outdoor sports, there is something here for everyone, whether you enjoy fishing, golf, horse riding or cruising on the Shannon.

The holiday cottage is located in a very quiet area with only the friendly owners and their farm animals as neighbours.

Lovely cottage but didn't realise we would be charged for electricity €2.40 which seemed a bit petty.
