A nice hotel convenient to Waterford and the surrounding area. The music in the bar was a bit loud and overwhelmed the soccer game on the TV and easy conversation, but that is a very minor point. The young receptionist (Gillian) was a delight. She went out of her way to make us welcome and assisted us in dealing with the M50 toll issue we discovered. She was so helpful and perky that we named the female voice on our GPS "Gillian" after her! :)

The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially when our little girl became ill. They went out of their way to help arrange a doctors appointment and give us all that we needed to ease our burden. Thanks especailly to Maggie.

Last minute booking visiting family. Reception staff very welcoming and friendly. Generously sized family room, well appointed and spotlessly clean. Standard breakfast fare, full Irish/buffet. Pool staff spot on, came over to check kids swimming ability when they headed towards the deep end, all are good swimmers but it's reassuring to see this level of attentiveness. Excellent value. Will be top of my list when visiting Waterford in future. Have already recommended it to friends and family.

Myself and my wife have been going to Woodlands Hotel for many years and we love it, we have recommended it to my daughter and her family and they have also started to visit. Highly recommend it.
