clean , friendly , helpful.
Very basic, but clean and functional. Staff very pleasant.
The staff were very courteous and nice. We were a little disappointed with the local food choices, but that's what you get for traveling over the christmas holiday.
To be honest I was not expecting a great deal from the room as all I see it as is a room with a bed in. For that it is very convenient. The pillows however were like paper, but it was clean and their were drink making facilities. The bathroom was clean aswell so all in all it was what I expected. it didn't wow me but neither did it dissapoint me.
Great value for money, conveniently located. No frills, but perfect for people who are in Waterford just for a night on the town.
Checked in and then immediately went to find another hotel - despite knowing it is budget accomodation we found the overall ambiance/feel to be grotty. There was also a €10 charge to check-in before 3pm which we were not aware of. The reception refunded most of the cost when I checked out - except the early check in charge

The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. However, the room was dirty and we had a sleepless night due to other guests keeping us awake until 6am, at which point we were so tired we left and returned home. Very disappointing.
We had a fab time the staff were very helpful. We really appreciated there help with places to go and things to do. A friendly chat or two is great when your a stranger. Thanks to all at Travellodge Waterford.
The manager and staff were superb - friendly and helpful. You should be very happy with the people you employ in Waterford. The room was excellent value for money - something we found difficult to find in Celtic Tiger Ireland!
Room fairly small but well equipped.
Clean, nice, easy in and easy out.
