There was a lot of noise from the function rooms - but this did finish by 1am. Our rooms were also above the fans that came on at 6am. I would ask for rooms facing the waterside if I go again.
I was quite surprised by how shabby the communal areas and my room were. The basin and toilet in my room were cracked. The grouting needs cleaning and the carpets need to be vacuumed more thoroughly.The paint work needs to be redone. This is such a shame because I remember when the Tower Hotel was brand new. I ordered room service as the bar was way too crowded to eat in. My order was taken very pleasantly and delivered quickly too.
Location is perfect. Rooms could do with a make over, broken floor tiles around toilet, cracks on walls etc.
It was a very good hotel. Only Thing that i didn't like was the Cleaning Staff opened the door and walked in twice, once at 8 and another time at 9.

The room we stayed in (Rm 341), was stuffy and too hot with an air conditioning system that did not cool the room in any way ... but was extremely noisy all night long. I am not even sure that the system I could hear was for my room, but it disturbed me right throughout the night. Also i used the shampoo in the hotel which left my hair in an absolute mess. It is appauling stuff !!

LOVELY HOTEL BUT AT ONE STAGE OF WALKING THROUGH FLOOR LEVEL THERE WAS A SMELL OF DAMP. THIS WAS NOT NEAR MY ROOM. SO,I DID NOT MENTION IT TO STAFF. PLUS IT PROBABLY IS A ONGOING PROBLEM.
The friendliness of the staff was gratifying to encounter. We had no criticism at all on any subject during our stay with you.
I found the hotel to be excellant, great location, lovely bar, bar food really good, staff lovely when I go back to Waterford I will stay there definitely.
We asked to change rooms as the room we were allocated was very hot and if we had the window open very noisy from a fan on the roof. The hot water pipe went through the room and was unlagged. The staff were very helpful and found us another room. We thought the rooms/bathroom could do with an undate and were looking a bit shabby, broken tiles on the floor which could be dangerous. Did not use the leisure facilities as I did not want to wear a hat!!
The room was rather dark and had a noisy generator nearby. As we were only there for 2 nights, we didn't complain.
Really liked the leisure facilities in hotel. Bedroom was fine but bathroom was in need of attention, grouting around bath was needing replaced. Restaurant and bar was very nice and staff helpful and pleasant.
Central, easy access car park, good dining menu and a pleasurable stay (never any hiccups!)

The cental location makes the hotel the ideal venue for business in and around Waterford. I found the rooms, restaurant, and the staff excellant.
Great breakfasts and great fun in the leisure centre.
Had a great weekend and very good rates.
