Lovely- although when we got our room serviced, they only left one bath towel between the 2 of us! Car park was over full when we arrived

Fitzwilton Hotel was spotless. A nice hotel with friendly staff. Shame there was not a lounge (as opposed to the bar) to chill out in.

The availability of triple rooms with 3 beds (usually double & single )was a big plus,only a short walk from railway station and town centre.
The staff all round where all very plesant and customer service was brillant. Reception ladies where super, friendly, very helpful and addressed any issues that we had.
Modern clean typical, we normally prefer old and character but this and its location suited us this time.
The bar service was not great - we sat waiting to be served for ten minutes while the waitress cleaned the bar. Then we decided to order at the bar, at which point she disappeared completely. We soon left, dismayed by the service. The restaurant at the hotel was completely different however. The staff were pleasant, and only forgot to bring our coffees. Parking facilities were minimal - we were informed it was on a 'first come, first served' basis.
