The building provides a permanent home for the Municipal Art Collection and houses a fascinating collection of works, including pieces from renowned irish artists such as Jack B Yeats, Charles Lamb and Louis Le Brocquy.

Bar & Restaurant
There is a lot more to Valhalla Restaurant than serving the “Best Breakfast in Waterford”. Although it’s the most important meal of the day, breakfast is just one of the great meal experiences that are on offer in Valhalla Restaurant. Breakfast is available from 7.30am to 10.30am Monday to Friday and to allow our guests stay in bed just that bit longer we serve breakfast on Saturday & Sunday mornings from 8.00am to 11.00am. A la Carte and Table d'hôte menus are served each evening and the head chef is passionate about the quality of locally sourced produce.
The menu offers a Mediterranean twist on traditional Irish ingredients and dishes are complimented with a superb wine list of recognisable wines from the new world. Dinner is served from 6.00pm to 9.00pm nightly (10.00pm on Friday & Saturday nights)
Asgard Bar provides the setting for casual dining in the evening time. We have an extensive bar food menu served daily until 9.00pm (10.00pm at weekends). We show all of the major sporting events in Asgard Bar and live entertainment can be enjoyed on certain weekend nights throughout the year.
