Mountain View House is a beautiful Georgian town house offering B&B style accommodation in the excellent coastal resort of Dungarvan in County Waterford.
It’s an elegant guesthouse rich in class and quality, and has recently been fully modernised and restored to make it truly comfortable and amenable for guests. There’s a gentle and relaxed garden area where you can have stroll, take in some air and sit in the shade under the tree when the pleasant Waterford weather kicks in.
There are four rooms in total at Mountain View House, all of them equipped with en suite facilities, a television, a hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities.
They are very conscientious about families and are well prepared, there’s a children’s menu and a cot and highchair available. There’s also a payphone and private parking.

Description

Dungarvan is a popular town where you can enjoy salmon fishing, golf, boating, diving and various other water sports. Clonea, a lovely sandy beach, is only a short distance away. Why not check out the remains of Dungarvan Castle, and be sure to have a look at Ballyporeen Cathedral and it’s unique design? Of course there’s a wide range of pubs and restaurants in the area if you want to relax, and nearby Waterford is a popular spot where the famous Waterford Crystal Factory can be found.

The house was very well situated close enough to the centre. It had a lovely big house feel to its halls and entrance. It had a pleasant and quiet atmosphere about its surroundings and furnishings. Overall I was pleased with my stay and the service was very friendly and helpful.
