Maple Leaf is quaint little country house looking out onto Dungarvan Bay in Ireland’s sunshine county of Waterford.
Fetching and attractive from the outside as well as inside, this bungalow style B&B has an excellently manicured garden area which is ideal for a spending warm afternoons relaxing in the sun, as well as a private parking area where you can leave the car.
Maple Leaf has three en suite rooms decked out with a TV, tea and coffee making and a hair dryer.

The whole premises is central heated and operates a non smoking policy within the rooms. Dungarvan is a superb beachside town where the options for outdoor pursuits are vast. Why not play a few holes at St Laurence’s Tennis Club where there’s a pitch and putt, or get involved in some water sports. Check out Dungarvan Museum for an insight into the local heritage and history, or check out the remains of Dungarvan Castle by the riverside. There’s also a wide range of bars and restaurants where you can get a feel for the town and enjoy a nice bit of food and drink. This property is under 2 hours drive from Rosslare ferry port. It is appox 1 hours drive from Cork City.

We only stay 1 night as a stopover on our way from Dublin to Cork. The property is clean and with a nice view of the city. Very homely and the host is friendy. Nice breakfast with varieties.

Solo traveller

Visited to see the Tall Ships in Waterford. I booked a hotel in Waterford but they cancelled two days later. Booked another place but they too cancelled so I went out to the Maple Leaf because a lot, or all, the nearer places were filled. This B&B turned out to be a pleasant country home, just outside Dungarvan, itself a small harbour town with plenty of facilities.
