Directions to grand hotel
By Road from Waterford City (aprox 20 minutes drive)
Follow the Cork Road and turn left before the Esso Station.
At the Superquinn roundabout take the 2nd exit and it is a straight road to Tramore.
In Tramore take the 2nd exit at the next 3 roundabouts, go straight up to the top of the hill where there is a T-junction and turn right.
The Grand Hotel is on the left side where you will see a sign for the Doneraile Restaurant. Parking is available in the Square for cars and coaches beside the Grand Hotel.

Tramore is a very popular seaside resort located in the sunny south east of Ireland. Its main attraction is its beautiful long beach. It's just about 10km from Waterford city so it's definitely worth a visit especially during the Summer months when the town is lively. The very brave can enjoy a fresh morning swim in Tramore Strand. If this doesn’t tickle your fancy you can enjoy some pony trekking nearby or join in the historical walks, which will take you through Tramore and Waterford city. Pitch and Putt, angling and surfing can all be enjoyed locally.
