There are a number of golf courses to be found in the local area, and you can also partake in a spot of fishing nearby at Knockaderry or Ballyshunnock. Waterford is known for it’s architecture and history and there are various monuments and places you can visit, not least the Waterford Crystal Heritage Centre, where you’ll witness how the world famous crystal is made. There is of course an excellent range of bars and restaurants where you can have a bite to eat, a drink and a good night out.
