Do I need to be fit
You need to be aerobically fit but remember you can travel at your own pace and do not have to travel in a group. We do recommend that you do some training spins before you start the tour. For those who are fit and energetic, longer routes are always available and we will gladly give those to you.

Accommodation
The accommodation is booked on a twin sharing basis in quality family run guesthouses. We will do our utmost to match those singles willing to share a room. We try to ensure you will receive a room with private facilities but in some of the more remote spots you may have to share a bathroom. Due to the isolated nature of some of our locations, there is limited availability of single room accommodation. We will be happy to book extra nights accommodation for you at the start or end of the tour.

The Tour and guide (guided tours only)
The maximum size of our tours is generally 18 persons. Our clients come from all over the world. You meet with your guide at 17.30 on the Saturday evening and we fit you for your bike.
The guide will then take your luggage to your accommodation unless you have already booked in and suggest a meeting place for dinner that evening where you can start to get to know your cycling colleagues for the week.
The guide does not cycle with you but will be driving the support van and will make a few sweeps to ensure that you are all ok if one of you needs a lift then he will gladly put you and your bike in the van.
The guide will move your luggage each day and meet you for lunch each day. He will also suggest the best pubs and restaurants to visit at night time.
