Dermot Cavanagh: Is an accomplished artist and tutor who has had numerous one man exhibitions of his work. His paintings hang in collectors homes around the world from Ireland to Australia, the USA and Canada, Austria, Denmark, Hong-Kong, South Africa as well as Spain, Britain, Cyprus and the former Yugoslavia. Dermot also tutors painting holidays in Portugal, North Cyprus and The United Arab Emirates. He holds workshops and demonstrates for Art Clubs and Societies throughout the UK and Ireland. His is a professional associate member of the Society of Amateur Artists. In the Spring of 1996, Dermot released his first painting Video and Book. As a representational painter with a great love of the countryside he believes that the only way to paint it is to get out into it. He paints oils, watercolours, acrylics and pastels. Dermot says "if you have the interest and the desire to paint … I have the ability and experience to teach you".
