Lough Lack is about 25 acres in area and is situated in Lough Bradan Forest, surrounded on three sides by young plantation. The access to it is by a forest road off the B72 Ederny-Castlederg road. It hold a good stock of a half and three quarters lb trout and you may even get one of 1lb or better. These trout take very fast and fight and deep. They are very free rising but hard to hook and you will have to go down in fly size to have much success.

It should be remembered that it is May before this lough fishes well. Try a Greenwell's Glory, Golden Olive, Sooty Olive, Invicta, Zulu and possibly a Green Peter or Murrough at dusk. The bank is nearly all fishable and at certain points it is safe to wade. Permission: Not usually required
