Castlederg, a pleasant market town in the Derg Valley is situated just nine miles from Strabane. A traditional travellers stage post, Castlederg boasts ancient ruins, monastic settlements and the more recently developed leisure centre and visitor centre facilities. The centre is designed to present the story of Castlederg both past and present by means of an innovative video wall, depicting stories which display the richness, variety, people and culture of the area.
